Sebastian Pearce – Flash Fiction and Sports Betting. What can go wrong?

After several months of silence, SebPearce.blog is back—and it’s bringing something unexpected with it.

When I launched this site, it was built around a single mission: showcasing the speculative fiction that keeps me up at night writing. Those twisted tales, psychological horror stories, and flash fiction pieces that explore the dark corners of human nature. That hasn’t changed. What has changed is that I’ve realized I’m leaving half my story untold.

Because when I’m not crafting stories about impossible cities and sinister undercurrents, I’m knee-deep in sports statistics, injury reports, and AI-assisted betting analysis. And I’ve gotten pretty damn good at it.

A Blog Evolved

SebPearce.blog is now home to two worlds: Speculative Fiction and Sports Betting.

This isn’t a pivot—it’s an evolution. I’m still the same writer who loves a good sting-in-the-tail ending. But I’m also someone who’s turned sports betting into a science, achieving a 60% win rate and 10% ROI across hundreds of carefully analyzed bets. Both pursuits scratch the same itch: finding patterns, predicting outcomes, and beating the odds.

And here’s the exciting part: I have provisional agreements with an online publisher for multiple books in both areas. Fiction collections that will expand the universes I’ve been building, and two comprehensive guides on using AI for sports betting research. This blog is now the hub where these worlds come together.
